Hole in the Wall
Described by the team at Shellharbour Scuba Centre as awesome – The Hole in the Wall dive site concludes the many great scuba experiences on offer at Bass Point.
South of the reserve and only around 8 metres deep, the Hole in the Wall is teaming with schools of fish. Conditions must be very calm for entry and exit but it is well worth the wait! You’ll approach the entrance from beneath before being sucked up into a small cave where you’ll find the Australian giant cuttlefish, boxfish, moray eels, and wobbegongs. The cave is also home to nudibranch and the blue kneed sea spiders unique to the south coast. This is a purely beautiful and adventurous dive you’ll never regret!
