- First Stage -

• Auto Closure Device (ACD) - keeps corrosive water out of the first stage inlet by automatically closing as the CORE is removed from the cylinder valve

• Cold Water Performance-Achieved using three anti-freeze properties:
  • A dry inner chamber, including no ice, by isolating the chamber.
  • Deep ribs for a larger heat exchange surface to prevent ice formation. Improving from the Glacia and Legend 2 by 30% and 70% respectively.
  • An overmoulded cap to prevent ice forming on the external diaphragm.
• Overbalanced or auto-balanced
• Working Pressure Adjustment- As your depth and pressure increase, the working pressure of the 1st stage increases proportionally for optimal breathing effort.
• Ergonomic Design- DIN screws made from a bi-material to create a 'soft grip' surface. This makes it easier to handle with cold hands.
• Specialized ACD Dust Cap- Attached to reg body - protects the inlet fitting/ACD system.
• Port Positioning- strategic positioning of the HP and MP ports give optimal hose routing

• Sideways Flow Over Diaphragm- created by the front cover opening
  • Radial openings prevent the reg from freeflowing in strong currents
  • Widened openings reduce the peak inspiratory flow by 20%.
• Overmoulded Air Purge - the wide surface area makes purging easy and the purge depth controller optimises air-flow.
