Mick Harris
Shellharbour Scuba & Photography is proudly owned
and run by local, Mick Harris.

Since calling Shellharbour home, Mick has become well recognised and a respected member of the diving community. Bass Point has led to some truly remarkable photographic opportunities for Mick, including the discovery of the Sydney pygmy pipehorse (previously unknown to the area), and a NEW species of sea spider (graciously named after him).

“To dive, or not to dive? What a silly question!”

Mick leads Shellharbour Scuba Centre’s weekend dives and doesn’t leave home without his camera – ready for that next shot! His favourite subject and Bass Point resident is the Australian giant cuttlefish. Mick can be regularly found in store servicing tanks or catching up on diving gossip – Mick welcomes you to drop in anytime and is always happy to share his experiences and knowledge.
