Description
The new Aero FCS (Flight Control Sysem)
has the same materials and features as our Aero Pro, but comes with the Cressi's FCS inflation/deflation system.
The easy to operate system is located comfortably on the lower left hand
section of the BCD always on hand without disturbing the movements of the
diver, even during the most technical dives, and is easy to grip even with
thick gloves. Following Cressi tradition, a great deal of care has been taken
to ensure that the inflation and deflation functions occur with completely
distinctive movements that cannot be mixed up.
Technical
details
This is the
version of the Aero Pro fitted with the FCS (Flight Control System), the
exceptional and highly effective Cressi integrated system to adjust stability,
now in a new version. The command that emerges from the bottom left of the
jacket doesn’t protrude as much as the preceding versions, while still being
within perfect reach. When necessary it can also be manoeuvred with the right
hand thanks to the large, separate pressure and dump commands that cannot be
confused, both acting progressively. The slider dump command in particular
allows extremely precise micrometric dumping of air in the
first part of the line that increases as the slider is pushed until the valve
opens up completely at the end of the line.
The manual emergency inflation tube is now on the left shoulder,
protected by an elasticised cap in a position that is also accessible for your
dive buddy to inflate.
The structure of the bag is identical to the Aero Pro one, with shoulders
separate from the bag and it provides considerable buoyancy as required by
the models with fully integrated weights.
The mixed front and back volume and the anatomic conformation guarantee
an extremely streamlined and enveloping structure that is perfect for moving
forward.
Like the whole Aero series, the FCS model has also been conceived to be able to
stow all the weights used by the diver in the various pockets.
Two special slip-off weight containers known as L.A.S. (Lock-Aid System),
can stow up to 4.5 kg of weight per pocket and come with a mechanical safety
release. Two more weight pockets on the rear allow optimum distribution of the
weights.
The extensive accessories also include two large zip-up accessory holder
pockets, numerous stainless steel D-rings and two carry handles.
The choice of the materials makes it possible to keep the weight down for air
travel.
