DESCRIPTION:Shellharbour Scuba Centre’s PADI Open Water Diver course is not only the perfect gift or a fantastic holiday activity with the kids; it is the first step to exploring the world like you may have never done before.\nNo prior scuba diving experience is required and this course is widely recognised; millions worldwide have already gone on to successfully discover the wonders of the aquatic world. As a PADI Open Water Diver\, you are given the knowledge and tools required to dive unsupervised by an instructor. \nThe PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases including knowledge development (online\, independent study\, or in a classroom) to understand the basic principles of scuba diving; confined (ocean pool) water dives to learn basic scuba skills; open water dives to use your newfound skills and start exploring! Please note: our PADI Open Water Diver course is conducted over two weekends. \nBreathing underwater for the first time is something you’ll never forget and the team at Shellharbour Scuba Centre cannot wait to help you get started! We love having our past students revisit Bass Point with us time and time again. Upon completion of the PADI Open Water Diver course\, you are also able to sign up for any of our speciality Adventure Dives and earn credit toward the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification. \nBook with Shellharbour Scuba Centre and you will receive an exclusive PADI Open Water Diver Starter Pack! You get a full colour manual and accompanying DVD; tables; log book; dive medical; and all course equipment including air (re-fills) are included in the course fee. \nPADI Open Water Diver and PADI Advanced Open Water Diver courses are conducted at least once a month.
